This is a collection of short horror stories by various authors, compiled by Christopher Golden in honor of the late author Rick Hautala.
Rick Hautala (1949–2013) was an American speculative fiction and horror writer. Hautala wrote and published over 90 novels and short stories beginning in the early 1980s, including the million-copy, international bestseller Nightstone, as well as Twilight Time, Little Brothers, Cold Whisper, Impulse, and The Wildman. He also published four novels—The White Room, Looking Glass, Unbroken, and Follow—under the pseudonym A. J. Matthews.
